The surrounding area is growing fast and offering great services in Halls Gap and the Grampian’s region. The Halls Gap Zoo and The Gap Vineyard are only a minute away from Grampians Old Man Emu Stay!
The beautiful Grampians mountains are well know for rock climbing, abseiling, bushwalking and hiking. You can get all the information you will need from Brambuk Visitors Information centre to guide you to some very beautiful places in the area including The Pinnacle, Mackenzie Falls and Venus Baths.
Halls Gap hosts the very popular Halls Gap Jazz festival and the Grape Escape festival held in February and May respectively of each year. As well as art and flower shows held at various times of the year, Halls Gap and Pomonal provide markets selling local produce and a range of goodies.
Horse Riding is available in the area with quiet reliable school horses that are available for private and group lessons. Lunge lessons are also available.
Golf, Mini Golf and cycling are other popular activities available at any time of the year as well as winery tours and night tours.
Other attractions in the area include Lake Fyans, Lake Lonsdale (boating) and Lake Bellfield where you can go fishing, swimming, canoeing or kayaking.
